You must work in eligible jobs. The eligible occupation codes for this visa can be found on the UKVI website. Additionally, you must have a job offer from the NHS, or an organization providing medical services to the NHS, or an organization providing adult social care.

Documents Required for Health and Care Worker Visa Application

The following documents are required for the Health and Care Worker Visa application:

• Certificate of Sponsorship (COS) from your employer
• Passport with a minimum of 6 months’ validity
• UKVI IELTS (General Training) if you are applying from outside the UK – Minimum 4 in each module (Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking)
• Health care-related degree certificate
• TB test certificate (if you apply from outside the UK)
• Police clearance certificate (if you apply from within the UK)

Cost of Health and Care Worker Visa Application

For Health and Care worker visa applicants, you only need to pay the visa application fee, the Immigration Health Surcharge is exempt. The Visa Application fee is £247 if you apply for a visa for up to 3 years, and £479 if you apply for a visa for more than 3 years. The Visa Application fee is the same whether you apply from inside or outside the UK.
